At this year's Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, N.C., President Obama called for bolstering trade, generating one million manufacturing jobs by 2016 and stemming the growth of college tuition. And, in a nod to the economic plan he announced last year, Obama repeated his goal to shave more than $4 trillion from the deficit over the next decade. He also renewed his call for raising taxes on the wealthy.

During his 2012 State of the Union address, Obama provided more insight into his tax plan. Among other things, he would trim corporate tax rates to 28 percent from 35 percent -- and cut the tax rate for U.S.-based manufacturers even more. He added that the top corporate tax rate on domestic manufacturing profits would drop to 25 percent and even further for income from advanced manufacturing activities.

In a recent speech at the National Urban League Convention, Obama continued to tout the proposals. "You don't build [strong communities] by giving tax breaks to companies that are shipping jobs overseas," he said. "You build it by giving tax breaks to companies that create jobs in Detroit and in Cleveland and in Chicago and right here in New Orleans, right here in America."

As president, Mitt Romney indicated in his 59-point economic plan that he would slash the corporate tax rate to 25 percent from 35 percent. He would eliminate regulations that hampered the free market and trim government spending to 20 percent of

In today's time, we often wonder do older people still have that burning desire they had back in the old days? The answer is YES! We at LegacyAtHand believe that LOVE is also a major factor in your legacy. You can have a major story to tell your grand children and great grands, but LOVE is something you want to show them.

Stories that we are capturing have been amazing over the past 2 years. We've met singles & widowed but the most coolest are the couples. The story behind each partners life before they met each other has a lot to do with them still being together today. 

When we ask the question "So how did you guys meet?" Man o man, words began to pour out. Many couples say that love was more excepted and open 30-40 years ago. Every song on the radio or live concert was about love. Baby Boomers grew up on love. This means that love has a major impact of your legacy. Some people legacies started based on love. 

Do They Still Light The Flame?

Yes! The flame still gets a spark. Most couples still go on outings, movie dates, walks in the park, live concerts and more. Basically keep that "Old School Love" in the new generation.

We can also say, A Legacy is a gift given by someone after death through a Will. Once You understand this,You must also understand, You are that Someone!!! Who have the ability to create that Something that will be Remembered and pasted on to Family for years to come. Your Legacy is At Hand!!! 

Now lets start, there are Three things that we would teach to our children, family members and friends. They are to become good stewards of there Bodies,there Finances and there Spirituality.
